The 29th  World Aluminium Conference was held in London in May 2024,  co-hosted by the International Aluminium Institute (IAI) and the Aluminium Stewardship Initiative (ASI). 

The partnership with IAI and ASI reinforces CRU’s full supply chain focus and has introduced new content such as carbon accounting methodologies. This flagship event is regularly held in London due to the high concentration of executives involved directly and indirectly in the aluminium sector, allowing attendees to maximise their networking opportunities and build their professional network in a business social environment.

Over 360 leading executives and decision-makers from the primary, secondary, extruded, rolled products, end use, trading and financial sectors attended in 2024, representing 170+ companies from 38 countries, making the event the ideal opportunity to network with the global supply chain.
